1. Purpose

Know Your Customer ("KYC") verification helps us confirm the identity and legitimacy of Center operators before granting them access to API-driven financial and government-facing services (recharge/BBPS, PAN services, eStamp, insurance) through the platform, in line with the requirements of our own upstream service providers.

2. KYC Information Collected from Centers

When a Center onboards a service that requires it (for example, connecting a Recharge & Bill Pay outlet), we collect business/outlet identity information as required by that specific service provider — this may include the Center's business name, address, PAN, and other identity details the provider's onboarding process requests. This information is submitted to the relevant service provider (e.g. Formax) as part of activating that integration, and stored securely within the platform for reference.

3. Verification Process

KYC details are verified by the relevant upstream provider as part of their own outlet/partner onboarding process — Stayvora facilitates the submission but the final verification decision (active/inactive status) rests with that provider. A Center can check its own onboarding/verification status directly within the relevant service page in the Center Admin panel.

4. Data Storage & Security

KYC data is stored securely and access is limited to the Center's own authorized staff and the Stayvora personnel who need it to support that integration, consistent with our Security Policy.

5. Consequences of Incomplete or False KYC

Providing false or incomplete KYC information may result in a service integration being rejected or suspended by the upstream provider, and may result in suspension of the associated Center account on our platform, consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy.
